In 1980, Professor Zhang Zhifang, the founder of the company, began the development of nickel titanium based shape memory alloys.
In 1998, Beijing GEE SMA Technology Co., Ltd(GEESMA) was established, becoming one of the first companies in China to specialize in producing Nitinol products.
In 2000, the company gradually improved its Nitinol material production line, with 100% of the production processes completed internally and 70% of the inspections completed by itself.
In 2005, the company began to establish cooperative relationships with well-known domestic universities and enterprises, and the jointly developed Nitinol materials and components have been applied in many important fields.
In 2019, Zhuozhou GEE SMA Technology Co., Ltd was established as a Production and Research & Development base.
In 2023, the company established a specialized foreign trade company "XIAN GEE SMA IMPORT AND EXPORT CO.,LTD" and changed from indirect export to direct export.
